This high-performance bullet camera offers 4 MP image quality with 32x optical zoom for great details at any distance. Plus, a deep learning processing unit enables unique opportunities for analytics based on deep learning.
First-class at any distance
With 32x optical zoom, AXIS Q1806-LE can be mounted much further from the scene and still deliver outstanding image quality. With OptimizedIR, you’ll enjoy sharp and clear footage in complete darkness up to 100 m (328 ft) without the need for extra lighting. It includes Axis Lightfinder 2.0 to capture images with more realistic and saturated colors and sharper images of moving objects. And, with Axis Forensic WDR you’re sure to capture high-quality images even when there’s both dark and light areas in the scene. Furthermore, optical image stabilization (OIS) ensures stable images even in low-light situations.
Cost-effective and secure
This easy-to-install camera features IDC network connectors as well as a spacious back box for secure cable management. With PoE out, it can power other devices such as speakers and strobe sirens. Plus, edge-to-edge technology allows speaker pairing. Thanks to Axis Zipstream with H.264/H.265, it significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements. Enclosed in a robust aluminum casing, this impact-resistant camera can handle temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F). Additionally, Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access. Plus, it offers secure key storage with FIPS 140-2 level 2 certification.
Deep learning analytics
Built on ARTPEC-8, AXIS Q1806-LE features a deep learning processing unit for improved processing capabilities. This allows you to collect and analyze even more data than before - on the edge. It also delivers valuable metadata facilitating fast, easy, and efficient forensic search capabilities. Thanks to AXIS Object Analytics it’s possible to detect and classify moving objects. Furthermore, with support for ACAP version 4, you can add tailor-made applications based on deep learning on the edge available from Axis and our partners.
